1. How do I play?

This is a Play-By-Post Role Playing Game (RPG). You play by posting what your character is saying or doing. Unlike most RPG's, there isn't a set story for you to follow. You make up your own for your character. You can play any character that you want, original or unoriginal, from Goku to Sailor Moon. Just remember that not everyone will fit into the Dragon Ball (DB) world very well.

2. What does my character start with?

Your character starts with 500 Zeni (money), a weighted karate gi, and 15 points to distribute between his Vital Statistics. See the Character Creation Rules for more information.

3. Can I Change My Character's Species or Species Traits?

Several people have asked to charge their race after they've already played their character and realized its weaknesses. The thing is, like all RPGs, once you make the character and play it for the first time, you CANNOT change it! You can either live with it or scrap it. In DBZ, you don't see Krillin suddenly becoming a Saiyan, do you? However, there is one possible way to change one's character. If you are a full-blooded "what-ever", you can have Dr. Gero make you into 1/2 "what-ever", 1/2 something else. As the universe's greatest scientist, he will change you for the cost of your Free Creation.

4. How does damage work?

See the Combat & Damage Rules.

5. How do I get more powerful?

You earn PL by training with one of the Masters or by fighting in the Battle Arena. The maximum G's that you can ever train under is 400. You must slowly reach it first; you can't just do it right off the bat. All weighted items cancel out with enhanced gravity training. The system is as follows:

Regular fight, with or without enhanced gravity or weighted clothing: +300 PL
Training: +200 PL
All weighted clothing (Pants, Boots, Shirt, and Wrist Bands): Double gained PL
All Saiyan clothing (Boots, Jumpsuit, Armor, and Gloves): Gain additional 50%.
Weighted Armor: +300 PL

For Training under enhanced Gravity (G's)
10 G's: 2,000
15 G's: 2,500
20 G's: 3,000
.....
100 G's: 11,000
.....
400 G's: 41,000

You can also wish for more PL. Here are the amounts that you can wish for:

Earth Dragon Balls (DBs): +5% per wish
Namek DBs: +2% per wish
Drackonis DBs: +4% per wish

See the Dragon Ball Rules page for more information on the Dragon Balls.

6. What do the Masters do?

The Masters are the ones who make your character more powerful. By training with them, you receive PL. Each Master also has several unique moves that he or she can teach. Master Demona is the only Master who can actually alter the site, so don't ask the others to. The reason for this is that I don't want the password to be known by all the members, like the former site's was.

7. Can I be a Master?

No. If I wanted you to be a Master, you'd be one, so don't ask.

8. Why haven't I been updated?

I am a busy person; my life doesn't consist of only the internet. I try my hardest to keep on top of the updates.

9. Why can't I wish for immortality?

Because I said so. Just kidding. The real reason is that a character should not be that powerful. Everyone should fear their death.

10. How do I get money?

You can wish for it with the Dragon Balls (DBs) or you can go on Quests. The amount of money the DBs can give are as follows:

Earth DBs: 250 per wish
Namek DBs: 500 per wish
Drackonis DBs: 1,000 per wish

See the Dragon Ball Rules page for more information on the DBs.

11. How do I buy items from the shop?

You post a message on the message board. Include what items you want and how many. Some items come in batches, like clothing. The Quantity column is how many you get per order.

12. How do I go on a Quest?

You go on a quest by posting it. You post each step as you do it and you can only do one step a day. For instance, Fran goes on the Master Roshi Training Quest. The first day, she posts that she meets him and starts her training with the bees. The second day, she posts that she spars with several people. The third day, she posts that she is building something for him. On the last day, she learns the Kamehameha. This, however, is a simplified post. A good post should be descriptive and not so "cut-and-dry."

13. How long does it take to go to another planet?

It depends on 2 things: what planet you are on and what planet you want to go to. The minimum time is 1 day. Here's the chart:
