Basic Overview
Not much is known of the Freezans or their origins, as all known members of this race have been from a solitary family line: Freeza's family. With the possible exception to Kuriza (Freeza's son in the manga Neko Majin), their naming structure is derived from negative temperatures. They all are apparently employed in high status under a massive Planet Trade Organization (PTO), which they also likely run. They also pride themselves as being the strongest Species in the galaxy.
Unlike other Species, as a Freezan gains power, he creates for himself new forms to guise their actual power levels from opponents and allies alike. Transforming up into his next form greatly increases his power level, leading to the idea that the forms work like buffer zones to hold in such intense levels of energy; Freeza states that he transforms to keep himself under control with his power. The buffer zones, along with policies of Freeza's empire such as wiping out even races working under him if he views them as a threat and viewing mercy as only a means to get oneself killed, all hint at an untrusting civilization or an inherent untrusting nature within this Species. There are, however, some Freezans who are capable of having compassion to the weak and, to a certain extent, mercy. This is especially prevalent in the actions of the Hero-class Freezan in the arcade game Dragon Ball Heroes.
The home world of this Species is unknown. They are shown to own many planets and mostly reside in spaceships, traveling between the worlds their organizations are currently operating on. Freeza is said to own 79 planets, and his older brother Koola owns even more, 256 planets. It is unknown how many planets their father King Cold possessed or what role he actually had in the PTO; he is not known by the organization as its leader, Freeza is.
Level-Up Bonuses
Boundless Greed: Of all the species and races in the Dragon Ball universe, Freezans are by far the most greedy and selfish. All Freezan character begin play with the inherent Boundless Greed trait, which increases any and all Zeni (money) gains by 10%.
"Longhorn" Form: At level 4, a Freezan may unlock a temporary power-up that raises his Strength by 2. This Form looks somewhat similar to the Freezan's lowest power (default) form, except it is noticeably taller, extremely bulky, and looks more intimidating overall. The Freezan's horns also lengthen a bit, turning upward like a bull's horn, giving the Freezan an overall silhouette similar to a minotaur. Due to the increased energy output, a Freezan can only maintain this Form for a short period of time before he must return to his lowest power (default) form.
"Huge" Form: At level 7, a Freezan may unlock a temporary power-up that raises his Strength by 2 and Endurance by 1. This Form looks less humanoid than the other Forms, featuring a reformed mouth, elongated head, and spikes sprouting from the back. This Form has a silhouette similar to an Alien from the James Cameron movie franchise. Due to the increased energy output, a Freezan can only maintain this Form for a short period of time before he must return to a lower power Form.
"Sleek" Form: At level 11, a Freezan may unlock a temporary power-up that raises his Strength and Ki Control by 2 and his Endurance and Perception by 1. This Form is similar to the Freezan's default form in terms of size and bulk, but with smoother skin structure and white or purple plates on the chest, head, shoulders, lower arms and lower legs. This Form has been described by many former Pokemon fans as the "Mewtwo" Form, even though Dragon Ball Z existed long before Pokemon Red and Blue. Due to the increased energy output, a Freezan can only maintain this Form for a short period of time before he must return to a lower power Form.
"Spiky" Form: At level 15, a Freezan may unlock a temporary power-up that raises his Strength and Ki Control by 3, Endurance by 2, and his Perception by 1. This Form has shoulder bows, a crown with four horns, spikes on the back and a stinger on the tail. The Freezan's face is covered by a shield, hiding all facial features except the eyes which becomes pupil-less and red. While in this Form, the Freezan's silhouette is very similar to the Shredder from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Due to the increased energy output, a Freezan can only maintain this Form for a short period of time before he must return to a lower power Form.
